  • This year we are launching new tracks and challenges that move the community more toward digitalization and technology-enabled taking into consideration the emerging technologies that solve the local problems
  • This round our teams are required to move to local communities: the country, city factories, and distribution channels
  • Observe, notice, and take down notes. Meet technology and industry experts, discuss with them their findings, and bring out solutions
  • Over the year there will be design iterations to validate the MVP till reach finals with a functional prototype and caliber R&D engineers

 

1. Blockchain

  • Goal:
    • Improve security while decreasing users' dependency on a single provider's centralized system
  • Ideas may cover:
    • Hardware needed for technology
    • Blockchain applications in education, health, financial systems, real estate, etc.

 2. Electric Vehicles

  • Goals:
    • Match the price and driving range of conventional internal combustion engine vehicles
    • Reduce battery charging time
  • Ideas may cover:
    • Electric vehicle components
    • Charging station components

 3. Green Energy

  • Goal:
    • Promote green energy and reduce dependency on fossil fuels
  • Objective:
    • Develop new solutions based on green, non-polluting energy sources
  • Types:

 4. Industry 4.0

  • Goal:
    • Smart machines with high productivity and the lowest human interaction
  • Objectives:
    • Different types of robots that work on different stages on the production line
    • New techniques to inspect the final product to improve the QA system
    • Improve the supply chain and management of resources

 5. Intelligent Vehicles

  • Goals:
    • Total system intelligence Level 5 self-driving car
  • Objective:
    • Develop new solutions that can enhance the driving experience and keep our roads safe
